A blues and jazz concert was accompanied by wines from the Euganean Hills, cheese, salami, finger food, risotto and dessert in the Salotto, on our terrace and in the garden to raise money for the Italian parents’ association Cornelia del Lange Syndrome.

• Finger food: Ascanio Brozzetti, one of Italy’s best patisseurs
• Risotto: Andrea Valentinetti, one of Europe’s Jeune Restauarteurs (JRE)
• Salami: Salumificio Bazza, producing high-quality, natural salami for over 30 years
• Cheese: Gastronomia e Macelleria dei Colli, the address for La Mugletta and our guests for years
• Dessert: Zukkero, a young duo founded this successful pastry laboratory a few years ago, La Mugletta’s source for delicious breakfast sweets

The project: CLOSER – a clinical trial testing a drug therapy to see if it is possible to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with CdLS by alleviating the intellectual and behavioral disorders typical of the syndrome. If successful, this treatment would be an important step in treating some critical aspects of CdLS syndrome.
