Wine & Dine
For lovers of authentic products and exquisite wines, the region is a culinary paradise. Around 100 winegrowers are active in the Euganean Hills and offer wine tastings. The spectrum ranges from light sparkling wines to white wines, rosé, red wines or late harvest to dessert wines and the cultivation and processing also vary between traditional, organic or biodynamic. Not forgetting the “Olive Oil Route”, which is in no way inferior to the “Wine Route”. In addition to the liquid delicacies, the culinary aspect is not neglected. Simple trattorias, osterias and pizzerias are just as much a part of the offer as upscale and also star-studded gourmet cuisine. Just 10 km away, e.g., Massimiliano Alajmo, one of Italy’s best chefs, conjures up fantastic dishes. Last but not least, the local sagras (church festivals) offer a special opportunity to discover regional specialties and local life.
